Lemon Zest, I was always going to struggle with this colour :( I must admit its not a favourite, until I did my research, and started putting outfits together, now I have to say I am tempted to wear it :) a big turn around.
#LemonZest inspires optimism its cheerful and playful and always happy.
It looks great paired with chambray, peacock blue, acid green, neon pink and icy cool gray.

I hope this helps convince you not to be scared of this colour. It has been an education for me like all my blog posts, I learn alot as I research and put them together.
Today I had a book club meeting at my house it was funny because 3 women including myself were all wearing Emerald Green The Pantone Colour of the year!!! I dont know if they read my blog or saw my posts on Facebook but its out there where ever you go, these colours are the colours that colour our world for 2013.

Monaco Blue: Ready to knock purple off its royal throne.

Any skin type can wear this colour, but just be careful with how you accessorise. If you have a warm skin tone dont mix it with a stark white, choose a warmer colour such as beige or violet.

What beautiful words to describe this beautiful fresh colour. I personally love this colour teamed with pink, it is so fresh and crisp.

In this outfit I have use @Grayed Jade only in the Blazer, as I mentioned above I just love it with pink, I feel the denim compliments it beautifully.

Initially I found it hard to find clothing in the gorgeous @grayed Jade colour, after much searching I found what I wanted and in the process fell very much in love with this colour and the outfits I created. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

@Pantone predictions African Violet.

Today I was at the shops as I often am poking around seeing what is out there, not finding what I want or desire and as always, getting frustrated, then suddenly I thought, I need to actually start taking my own advice !! Each time I do one of these posts I source clothing relevant from online stores, it takes a bit of time but is fun, and then I put them together which is the best part.  The clothing is all in season on trend and available, so why am I not buying these items myself ? Well that is going to change, watch this space !!!!

African Violet is one of my favourite colours and so easy to use when styling an outfit as it goes so well with many other colours. It is beautiful as a solid colour or mixed in florals, stripes or other patterns.

The @Pantine powers that be have predicted that 2013 will be dreanched in colour !!

What exactly is @Pantone
Pantone is a standardised colour matching system, utilizing the Pantone numbering system for identifying colours. By standardizing the colours, different manufacturers in different locations can all reference a Pantone numbered colour, making sure colours match without direct contact with one another. All colour palettes have numbers and codes, these are used for fashion and interior fabrics and paints etc.
This year Emerald has been named Colour of the Year 2013.
